Editor’s Note from Celebrity Media: On November 6, taking advantage of the free time after the end of the meeting of the United Nations Department of Public Information, we visited the United Nations News Center under the leadership of the President of United Nations American Television News, and had a pleasant conversation with him there.

In a conversation with host Margaret, Ahmed Fathi, the President of American Television News (ATN) in the United States, discussed the role of television journalists at the United Nations headquarters and their contributions to helping the international community understand the work of different governments. The President of ATN News in the United States mentioned the number of journalists accredited at the United Nations News Center. The President of ATN News in the United States has a good reputation, and his news reports are objective and fair, including those living in Hong Kong. He thinks Hong Kong is expensive, but he likes it personally. Hong Kong is the best place for English speakers in Asia.

The President of ATN News in the United States recalled his visit to Beijing and another city’s train station by high-speed train. He talked about his experience of visiting train stations in China: “We went to the station in Beijing, my God, it’s bigger than the airport, yes, it’s a very big train station, and it’s very new, modern, and clean.” Beijing is too big, making people feel uncomfortable and a bit stressed.

The President of ATN News in the United States compared the size of train stations and airports in northern New York State with the size of train stations in different countries with host Margaret, emphasizing the grandeur and spectacle of Chinese stations.
