African Renaissance and Diaspora Network

 
The Chairman & CEO of the Global Council for Investment and Business for Africa (Gcib for Africa), Dr Idrissa Doucoure and the President & CEO of the African Renaissance and Diaspora Network, Inc, New York (Ardn), Dr Djibril Diallo, Have Signed a Partnership Agreement

The Chairman and CEO of the Global Council for Investment and Business for Africa (GCIB for Africa), Dr Idrissa DOUCOURE and the President & CEO of the African Renaissance and Diaspora Network, Inc, New York (ARDN ), Dr Djibril DIALLO, signed a Partnership Agreement between their two organizations, on Friday July 07, 2023, on the sidelines of the Invest in Senegal Forum, held on July 6 and 7, 2023 at the Abdou DIOUF International Conference Center (CICAD) in Diameniadio, under the effective chairmanship of His Excellency Mr. Macky SALL, President of the Republic of Senegal.

The signature took place at the end of the work of the Round Table organized by the GCIB for Africa with local elected officials (Mayors and Presidents of Departmental Councils) around the theme: "From vision to action: Dialogue of elected on urban development in Senegal, stimulate innovation and investment opportunities in local authorities in Senegal".

This signature will allow ARDN to take action in its mission to popularize the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), using as an entry point, in partnership with the United Nations System and FIFA, the Red Card campaign. which aims to mobilize individuals from all sectors of society to commit to giving a Red Card to all forms of discrimination and violence against women and girls.

At the same time, the GCIB for Africa signed investment protocols with local elected officials for 8 projects worth 890 billion CFA francs.
Indeed, the GCIB, which promotes trade and investment in Africa, has the mission of bringing together partners from the public and private sectors to promote sustainable development and economic growth in Africa.

This Memorandum of Understanding formalizes the business relations between ARDN and GCIB and symbolizes the openness offered to the two organizations and the mobilization of foreign investors and the Diaspora for a better tomorrow for Africa.
